Standardization Work Programmes: What They Mean for Manufacturers

Every year, national standardization bodies publish work programmes that outline which standards are planned for development, revision or withdrawal. For manufacturers and importers of electrical and telecommunications equipment, these programmes are an early signal of where conformity requirements are heading.

Following the work programme allows companies to prepare in advance: adjusting product documentation, planning laboratory tests against draft requirements, and budgeting for re-certification where standards are expected to change substantially.

As a testing and certification body, AZ TRUST SERT monitors developments in national and international standardization relevant to its scope of activity, so that clients receive up-to-date guidance on applicable requirements.
